Lilidorei is a magical, mysterious village full of play and is the vision of Her Grace the Duchess of Northumberland. We aim to enable children of all abilities to leave their mobile phones behind and enjoy both physical and imaginary play – to be immersed in a magical world of strange sounds, storytelling, myths, and all-round fun!
Lilidorei is operated by The Alnwick Garden Trust – an independent charity. Admission income from both Lilidorei and The Alnwick Garden enable the charity to further its valuable community and education work, including offering free school visits for Primary and First Schools in Northumberland.
There is the opportunity to experience a private tour of Lilidorei with its creator, The Duchess of Northumberland. All funds raised by these tours will be exclusively used to provide transportation for Free Friday visits for school children who would otherwise be unable to afford the experience.
