Over the past few months, the Community and Education team at The Alnwick Garden have been working with Northumberland College T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years students.
We met with the students for a number of sessions at Northumberland College and they visited The Alnwick Garden and Lilidorei to gather ideas.
The students were asked to work in groups and plan EYFS activities, to include a pre visit activity, on site activity and a post visit activity for children attending Lilidorei.
On Thursday 19th June, we held an event at The Alnwick Garden when the final learning resources were presented, and students were awarded certificates for taking part in the project. Some amazing learning resources have been created by the students for EYFS entitled ‘We’re Going on an Adventure’, ‘Fairy Dust and Wishes’ and ‘Music for Lilidorei’. All resources are linked to the EYFS Statutory Framework and Educational Theorists.
